Energy level: medium (loves to play but doesn’t need a big yard)

Dexter is a sweet and silly boy who adores his people. He will happily hang out with them and snooze while they work or watch TV. He loves playing with other playful dogs, both big and small, or playing fetch with his people.

Dexter:
* loves to sleep on your lap or in a dog bed while you work
* rides well in the car
* is crate trained and is an absolute angel in the crate
* is house trained
* loves to play and snuggle with other dogs (he does not need a dog in his new home)
* is working on his leash training
* is very respectful with the cats in his foster home
* requires a high quality chicken free diet
* requires daily care for his skin folds
* is very food motivated and working on his basic commands

Dexter’s perfect home would be folks that like to go for walks and play with him (or have another dog). He is a very sweet boy who will fit into many scenarios.

When applying please share your experience with the breed. Previous experience is not required but if you haven’t owned a French bulldog in the past please do some research. French bulldogs require high quality food, regular vet care, and almost daily hygiene care. These are not low maintenance dogs.

Dexter is up to date on his vaccines, had flea treatment, had de-wormer, and is microchipped, was heartworm tested and is neutered. His adoption fee is $400.
