Dexter was living with his master in an assisted living situation and was exposed to many people from a very young age. Sadly, his owner's condition declined and she could no longer care for him. Dexter would go to one more temporary home until he landed with a compassionate couple who are fostering him. Their dream? The next step - his forever!! Dexter has weathered the storm of loss with flying colors and integrated amazing well with his new foster caretakers. Dexter is like 10 pounds of pure sugar. The ears go up; those eyebrows go up and that friendly tail goes a 'wagging! along with sweet dog kisses! When Dexter was a recent attendee of Shamrock's Art for the Animals event he was a hit on to himself! Dexter does not meet a stranger and he flourished in a room full of admirers! Dexter is compatible with cats and fellow canines . He blends right in with the crowd. He's just that friend you want to invite everywhere! Dexter gets so excited to and just loves to go on walks! He also enjoys playing with his toys and loves the interaction of furry and human friends. Some folks pronounce it "Pappy-On, some folks pronounce it Pa-pill-e-on.
