Introducing our adorable seven-month-old tripod dog, who may be missing a leg but certainly not lacking in charm!

Meet Dexter, a shy yet incredibly lovable pup who has captured the hearts of everyone he meets. Dex is a smaller guy & we anticipate he will be medium-sized when fully grown.

Despite his initial shyness, Dex is a true social butterfly when it comes to other dogs. He possesses a natural ability to connect with his furry counterparts, making him an excellent companion for playdates or trips to the dog park. His gentle and friendly nature shines through, ensuring that he gets along famously with his canine friends.

While Dex may take a little time to warm up to new people, once he does, he becomes a loyal and affectionate companion. His trust is earned through patience and understanding, and once you've gained his trust, you'll be rewarded with endless love and devotion. Watching him blossom and grow in confidence is a truly heartwarming experience.

Dexter is also cat-friendly! He has been introduced to the resident feline and has shown a remarkable ability to coexist peacefully.

Despite his physical difference, Dexter doesn't let his tripod status slow him down. He is an energetic and playful pup, always ready for an adventure or a game of fetch. Dex is still very much a puppy, and will grab a sock or the occasional shoe. However, given the choice, he prefers a Benebone chew toy. Dexter is crate-trained, and has excellent indoor manners. The occasional accident may still happen, but overall he's got impeccable indoor manners.
