Dexter Australian Shepherd & Rough Collie Mix Oklahoma City, OK

Dexter is a 10 week old mixed breed puppy. Best guess as to what he is mixed with is a Rough Collie / Australian Shepherd mix with a splash of Lab. He’s a playful guy coming in at 13 lbs. He should be around 60 lbs. full grown.

Dexter loves to play. He will play with you, by himself or with his canine friends. He gets along great with other dogs and just wants them all to be his friend. He’s loves going outside hunting for sticks to play with. He likes to chase his canine friends around the yard. He also likes all toys that squeak. He can be a little vocal while playing.

He is a happy and loveable guy ready to give you kisses. During the day after playtime he looks for a quiet place to nap usually snuggling next to another dog. In the evening when he’s all tuckered out before bedtime he likes to nap next to you on the couch or your lap if you’ll let him. He is very treat motivated & will rock a sit while waiting for a treat. He is still very young & learning new things and will require redirection / correction from time to time.

He would make a great addition to a home with or without another playful dog. A secure fence is required.

He is working on his crate training. At night he currently sleeps with his sister quietly all night. He is still working on his potty training but making good progress.

Dexter is neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, current on flea & tick preventative and micro chipped. His adoption fee is $200.
