Meet Dex
******Please note, once completing the initial screen you will be connected with the placement for a video chat. Transports run every few weeks and we will have the dog on the next available transport once approved. If you are not able to accept a dog until a specific time period, please apply at that time************
We are a volunteer-run rescue and donate our time to these dogs. IF you are not serious about moving forward in our adoption process, please do not apply. If someone other than yourself is part of the decision making process, please make sure you have spoken with them and they are on board. We really do not want to waste anyone's time if you are not serious about adopting this dog.
*Meet Dex, is a 1 and half year old, American Staffordshire Terrier, neutered and weighs in at 45lbs. Dex is in a foster home in Houston, Texas and can transport out of state once an approved adopter is lined up!
This snuggly guy thrives on love and attention, making him the perfect cuddle buddy. He gets along well with other dogs and is great with kids, making him an ideal family pet.
Dex is a lovable and affectionate pup who is both potty and crate trained. While he’s great at holding it overnight, he prefers regular bathroom breaks during the day.
When meeting new people, Dex is cautious but once he feels comfortable, he warms up quickly and shows his fun loving side.
Dex is eager to learn and has mastered the “sit” command. He responds well to instruction and is a fast learner, always looking to please his humans. Plus, he has no food aggression, so he shares well with both people and other dogs.
