Animal control brought this handsome boy to the shelter as a stray. It didn't take us too long to provide rescue for this gorgeous guy, especially after learning about his awesome temperament. Dewie is a very sweet and loving boy. He walks well on a leash and is reported to be good with cats, however, caution should always be used when introducing any dog to a cat. Dewie is listed as a Lab mix but we think that he has some Great Dane in his DNA and he certainly can point.... as is evident on one of his pictures. Dewie is about 3 years old and weighs approximately 60-65 pounds. He is neutered, micro-chipped and current with vaccines. Dewie was recently treated for heart-worm disease but he is now well past his "limited activity" stage of his treatment and he is ready to start enjoying the life he was always meant to live. Dewie's suggested adoption donation is $300 to help cover the rescue's ongoing vet bills. This sweet boy will be arriving on transport to PA on Sunday, Jan. 19th, and we are taking applications on him now.
