If you’ve never met Dewey (a.k.a. Michael to his closest fans), you’re missing out on one of the most special, sweet, and silly pups out there. ?
This handsome 1½-year-old, 45 lb tripod may be missing a leg, but you'd never know it—he’s active, playful, and full of life. Dewey is the perfect mix of love and play:
?? Housebroken
?? Crate trained
?? Great with other dogs
?? Good with kitties
?? Champion cuddler
Everyone who meets Dewey falls in love instantly—he’s the kind of dog who snuggles up like he’s known you forever and has a heart as big as the moon. ?
Sadly, while he’s been doing wonderfully in his foster home, one of his foster siblings isn’t too thrilled with his presence, and we now need a new foster—or even better, a forever home—for Dewey.
From being hit by a car and left for dead to showing the world what true bravery and resilience look like, Dewey is nothing short of amazing. He would thrive in an active home with a yard where he can play ball and run, then curl up in your lap for TV time.
? Dewey would also benefit from someone willing to continue working with him as he continues to gain confidence and learn the ropes of being a beloved family dog. He’s smart, eager to please, and has come so far already!
