Meet Dewey: A Tripod with a Heart of Gold and Unstoppable Spirit ???

Some dogs have a story that touches your soul, and Dewey is one of them. This incredible boy has endured so much, yet his bravery, resilience, and love for life have never wavered.
Several months ago, we were notified about Dewey, a sweet pup found in Alabama after being hit by a car. He was taken to a shelter, but tragically, he received no veterinary care—left to suffer in excruciating pain with his front leg dangling. ?
When one of our rescue affiliates reached out for help, we knew we couldn’t say no. With the support of our amazing community, we raised the necessary funds to get Dewey the life-saving amputation he so desperately needed. Then, an incredible foster and vet tech stepped up to care for him during his recovery.
Fast forward to today—Dewey has been loved, nurtured, and is thriving! He is now ready to find his forever home. ??
