Meet Dewey

Introducing Dewey! This fella enjoys simply sitting on a bench in a shady spot and snuggling. He is also fond of car rides. Volunteers feel he would be a perfect movie companion (he will steal your heart, not steal your treats). Volunteers also tell us he enjoys walking and does well on his leash (is not a puller). Handsome Dewey just simply wants to please his humans. Dewey will thrive with slow introductions and time for him to get to know you. Staff recommends a family who is home more than not home. An older calm canine sibling would be the best match. Dewey does have child restrictions and will thrive best in a calm, predictable household. Given time and patience to build confidence we feel Dewey will make a great companion. Dewey is a 3 year old neutered male Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier mix.
