Meet Dewey

Dewey is a playful, affectionate, eager to please, year- old- fellow who is an absolute delight. He is quite a charmer, and loves attention, walks, and treats! He interacts well with other non-aggressive dogs his size, but obviously would prefer to have his very own person. He is an energetic guy who would be happiest with older children...not toddlers or preschoolers...and he loves to run ....he runs about half a mile every day with a volunteer but he is sometimes content to just quietly watch what goes on around him. He likes to play with squeaky toys during playtime, but the other dogs always seem to steal them from him. Dewey needs a secure fenced yard where he can run off his excess energy. He is very trainable, and would do best with someone with the time to develop his awesome personality.
