Meet Derby

Derby is now ready to find his family! He is just a year-old now and weighs about 33 lbs. We believe he is fully grown. Derby was found on the street eating garbage when he was only about 8 weeks old. He was starving and sick and taken into our rescue. He has grown up with his foster family who have other big dogs (will include a photo) and children who are now 7 and 10 years old, and he is great with them. We believe he is fully grown.

We aren't ever sure about breeding so it's an educated guess due to size and coloring and body type, but he looks loke a Podengo/Hound mix, Seems to have some longer legs on him and colored like a Boxer. We believe he is fully grown.

Derby likes to be outside but he also fully enjoys napping with the other dogs and playing with the kids. He is easygoing and happy dog who is healthy and ready for adoption.

He likes to sleep on a bed...or in your bed. He's a snuggler.

Derby will come to you neutered and fully vetted.
