Meet Denzel

Do you have a soft spot for seniors? Want to give a loving home to a dog who really needs it, and get love and affection in return? 10-year-old, 95-pound Denzel is looking for a comfortable home to spend his golden years. Denzel had been tied out in his yard. He got loose and chased someone, and that's how he ended up in the shelter. When they surrendered him, his previous owners noted that Denzel had ear infections, and those weren't treated until we rescued him.

Denzel is a typical German shepherd, loving with his family and protective of his home. He'd do best with a GSD-savvy adopter. He seems to be fine with the other dogs in his foster home.

Denzel is now healthy and loves his walks and food. He's excellent on leash. He enjoys being outdoors and basking in the sun but really wants to be an indoor pet and part of the family.
