Meet Denver – he is a 3 year old, weighs (24 kg), medium/low energy dog that loves to be hanging out with “his people and belly rubs. Hasn’t met a person he doesn’t like and seems to get along with all the dogs he comes across. Denver is a tripawed but doesn’t need any sympathy for his missing leg, he has the capacity for amazing love and happiness, and that is what he will bring into the family who adopts him.

Denver spent most of his life as an outside dog but he easily, and with great pleasure, transitioned into a fully housetrained dog that can be left alone in the house without any destructive behaviour.

Denver loves walks, running around at the dog park and water. He goes for a walk before work and for longer walks in the evening. Denver likely didn’t spend much of his 3 years on a leash, so he is learning to walk in a straight line and not meander any direction his nose takes him. He walks well on a leash, can pull when he smells something super interesting, but we are working on it. Denver can jump into a car for rides, no issues with stairs and has a history of chasing livestock.

Adoption fee is $295. He is neutered, dewormed, current on vaccines and has received a wellness exam.
