Meet Delilah
Meet Delilah! She is currently being fostered in Texas but is available for adoption through K9O. Transport to NY will be provided.
Delilah is around 5 years old and 65 lbs. She LOVES to go for walks and run around in her fenced in yard. She loves to lay in the sun and she adores having new chew toys and bones for strong chewers. She is great with children and LOVES to be near people. She is curious and likes to look out the window waiting for anything to move.
She would do best as the only animal in the home. She has not had too much socialization with other animals and gets over-excited when face to face with another dog. We are not saying that it is impossible to incorporate her with another dog, but we are being honest in telling you that we do not know how she would do. Her foster mom has other dogs but keeps them crated and rotated. We are seeking a home where she can be Queen of The Castle.
She is very food-motivated and would greatly benefit from basic training so she can learn how to calm down from her normal happy, enthusiastic, sometimes excitable state! She does take treats and food very gently! We have had Delilah in rescue for awhile now and it is time for her to find her forever home.
