We’ve learned life is short + sweet, so we just like to get to the point! As the youngins like to say these days, TL;DR (too long, didn’t read), so here’s the basics about me:

HOW DID I GET HERE?
I first came to SDS when my owner couldn't take care of me and her kids and go to school as a single mom. I was adopted and came back a few years later when circumstances were beyond my new mom's control. We miss each other a lot!

MY FOSTER DESCRIBES ME:
*I'd love someone who was home most of the time - I love having my person near me. When I'm lonely, I will give out the quietest howl looking for you and then raspy barks of joy when you reconnect with me.
*I'd love other calm, respectful pets that I could cuddle up with!
*I'm a tough cookie and make my foster mom laugh!
*I can do steps, but down is a little more challenging, so limited stairs would be ideal for me.
*Someone who can let me go potty in the middle of the night.
*Someone who will feed me at my regularly scheduled time - I KNOW when it's time to eat. I may be blind and mostly deaf, but my nose works perfectly!
*Someone who will let me sleep in bed with them.
*Someone who let's me Roomba around for fun stuff to find!
*A home with very respectful children who will understand my handi-capabilities.


HERE’S WHAT MY DOC FOUND:
*Blind - I will need a low clutter home where things don't move around too much so I can map out where I live
*Hearing Impaired - I can hear louder noises, but you may have to tap me to get my attention
*A long time ago, my vocal cords were clipped :(
*Seasonal allergies
*My belly can get upset when I am stressed out and I may have an accident, but I prefer to go outside!
