Dee Terrier Mix Chicago, IL

Hi future friend, I’m Dee, a 13 lb Terrier mix girl, but my foster parents call me “Tootsie” because I am always at their feet. I’m a very loving and sweet one-year old pup. I don’t mind a belly-rub/ear scratch or two throughout the day and I’ll let you pick me up and hold me or set me on your lap for pets! I’ll also sleep next to you if you let me… I enjoy car rides and also like my daily walks… did you hear I am leash and potty trained! I’m a pretty chill dog. I have two other dogs in my foster house, but my foster parents mostly play with me because my dog siblings are a lot older than me and just lay around most of the day…. I’m OK with that and I nap alongside them, but do need some playtime-I really enjoy tug-o-war and playing with my squeaky toys. I let my mom brush my hair and teeth every-night before we go to bed because staying healthy is important…. She says I am such a good girl. I don’t know how I would do around children, but I know it would be nice to have someone to play and spend time with- I don’t care what age they are 1-100. I think I would do best in a living environment where I can’t hear my neighbors, so an apartment might not be the best arrangement unless you have sound-proof walls. I don’t bark a lot, but I will bark if I hear people I don’t see, just my way of protecting you. I hope you’ll want to meet me, because I can’t wait to meet you.

The adoption fee of $400 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family.
