Debby Beagle & Hound Mix Scranton, PA

Debby is a beautiful Beagle or Hound mix who was recently rescued from a high kill shelter. She is approximately four years old and she weighs about 40 lbs. It is obvious that she has had several litters in her previous years. She may have been used for breeding and discarded when she was not producing enough puppies. But, whatever the case may be....those days are over now. It's Debby's turn to shine. We are told that Debby is a calm, gentle, happy dog who is very good with people and great with other dogs. We do feel that she would be happiest in a home where she could live either as an only dog or with dogs of a calmer nature. Young, rambunctious dogs would probably not be a good match for her more 'easy going" style. We are uncertain as to how she would do with cats so a slow introduction to any kitties would be recommended. Debby has been spayed and she is current with her vaccinations. She has recently been treated for heart-worm disease and is well past the "limited activity"phase of her recovery period. Debby is on monthly preventatives, and she has been micro-chipped also.
