Hi, I’m Dazey! I’m a one year old hound, heartworm negative and I promise I’ll keep you in a daze with my personality and love. I’m always on the go, and while I’m still learning to walk on a leash, I’m getting the hang of it. Sitting is still a bit of a mystery, but with some tasty treats, I’m starting to get the idea! Dazey's $300 adoption fee includes spay, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, VT, GA, and TN. Please email transport@hssm.org for more information on transports!

A staff member will reach out if your application is approved to discuss the adoption process. No fenced in yard required, and YES - we adopt to families with children! The adoption will not be final until the adoption contract is discussed and signed. Transports are arranged for specific dates, typically within 1-3 weeks of approving your application.
