Meet Dazee

Dazee came to us from another shelter after being surrendered to them. This girl has spent most of her life outside on a chain instead of in a loving home with her people. This has not tainted Dazee's opinion of people. She thinks everyone is great and is quite the social butterfly. She has done well meeting dogs, she isn't the in-your-face-hello kind of dog but rather a polite hey-how-are-you-today. Seeing other dogs while on a leash doesn't seem to bother her. She will need some work on leash walking. Due to living on a chain she thinks that she should pull a lot when the leash is on her collar, so she does much better when walked on a harness.

Dazee will likely need a little help learning how to tell you when she needs to potty, but she is a very clean girl, so we think she'll pick up the house training in no time. She currently is very good about keeping her inside kennel clean and using her outside kennel for potty so that is a great start on her house training.

We think Dazee is going to make a great family dog for a lucky family.

Dazee is a 6-year-old collie boxer mix? Maybe a Collie/pitbull mix. Dazee has received vaccines, dewormer, flea & tick treatment, she has tested negative for all the tick diseases and negativr heartworm. She has had her bloodwork done and is in excellent shape there. She does need to gain a couple of pounds, nothing regular feeding won't cure. Dazee will be spayed and receive her Rabies vaccines on 9/29 and will be able to leave on foster to adopt or adoption on 9/30.

Dazee's adoption fee is $200. You can apply online for them at OR stop in to the shelter 12- 6pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption.

Preapproved? Please call us at 937-393-2110 or message us on Facebook to let us know who you are interested in meeting.

Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 mos and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.
