Dax Jack Russell Terrier Toronto, ON

Hi, I'm a really popular guy, so we're not taking any more adoption applications for me at this time. Please check out some of my friends.

Dax is an amazingly friendly little dog. He's a new Canadian from Texas and only 7 months old. He's spent the last couple months in a shelter so he's still learning a lot but coming along great. He has the occasional accident in the house, but getting better at asking to go out! He's stopped play biting people but likes to wrestle with other dogs playfully.

Dax is an 11 lb bundle of energy, very friendly and loves everyone, except cats! He shows no toy guarding, food guarding or outward aggression at all. He even steals from the big dog's bowl. He lives with his foster daddy up in Muskoka. Big change from Texas and he's known to become quite the drama queen when his feet are cold. He also shares the house with a 100lb German shepherd, whom he follows around constantly. He would do best in a home where there is a good sized yard he can run around in.

He loves his chewies and toys. If you're busy he will gleefully occupy himself with a bone, swing his toys around, or by just running back and forth carrying his toy of choice. He is crate trained and does not try to escape while his foster dad is at work. He knows his name well and comes running when called.

Whoever adopts this little boy will get a great companion and the ultimate cuddle bug!
