Meet DAWN one brown eye and one amber eye

ONE AMBER EYE-ONE BROWN EYE-ONE GOLDEN HEART

Yes, you are seeing that correctly.

This stunning girl, has two different colored eyes. One is amber and the other brown, which is not only, incredibly beautiful but it makes her quite unique.

Dawn is a country dumpster. She, along with her sister Dusk (adopted) found themselves looking for a safe spot to hang out, after they were taken out to the country and abandoned. They were lucky they chose the home of an All Mutts supporter, who for a few days, hoped they would just move on or perhaps if they were not dumped, just go home BUT...they stayed so...she called us.

Ok...we get it. We know that, anybody looking for a German Shepherd or a GSD mix, has an incredibly huge selection to choose from, in the rescue world right now but this girl will be very special for the person who chooses her. Her sister's adopter has nothing but awesome things to say about the intelligence, courage, training ease and beauty of their girl, and we know Dawn will illicit the same praise and admiration from her adopters too.

Dawn was initially the most scared and skeptical of the two dogs but she was lucky enough to land in a very dog experienced foster home where her kindness, and gentle, willing to learn nature, makes your heart melt. She recently went on a Home Depot outing, where she did remarkably well, following her foster's lead. The trip was a complete success and gave a glimpse into the incredible possibilities lurking behind those gorgeous eyes. She has also proven to be a great big sister to a big littler of black and tan Coonhounds, and loved having them all as friends.

We are not sure what she is mixed with but she has to be mostly German Shepherd. She has the beauty, easy intelligence, trainability, loyal nature and keen awareness, inherent in the breed. She will need a secure yard with a solid six foot fence until she knows and trusts her new situation and she will thrive with people who believe in making their dog, part of the family. Dawn is so ready to be important to somebody and wants desperately to give her heart to someone. Her early life makes her initially, a bit wary but kindness and patience, win the day with her, She is also greatly motivated by a pocket full of yummy treats.

Dawn is not a big barker, remaining quiet when indoors and only sounding the alarm outside, when something is amiss, just like a good dog should. She is not a chewer nor does she suffer from any type of separation anxiety and with time, should be a dog that can be left alone, in the home, while her people are away. She has not been around cats, or very small kids and for this reason, we are hesitant to hazard a guess as to how she would do but will keep that door open, preferring to have that conversation with potential adopters, rather than just rule them out.

Dawn is spayed, up to date on five way and rabies vaccines, is flea/tick free, fecal tested and clear of intestinal parasites. microchipped and ready to fill your heart with her love and loyalty.

Her adoption fee is $325
