Davey Jindo & Hound Mix Pacifica, CA

Hi everyone! I am Davey, a 2-year-old Jindo-Hound mix from Korea. When I was a puppy, I was abandoned at a gas station with a broken leg. Luckily, I was rescued by a wonderful shelter owner and was brought to the rescue. Today, I walk just fine and you would never know I had an injury.

Ever since then, I was living in a shelter in Korea where I loved playing with my dog and human friends and going on walks.

I am a very smart and friendly dog and think this is why I was chosen to come to America! I was very lucky to be sent to America for the chance at a forever home!

I am still a young dog so I can get into the usual trouble, but I am easy-going, smart and affectionate. I am completely toilet-trained and just need a little more practice on the leash.

I love the American dog parks! I would do best with an owner who works from home or is retired, but I am high-energy and would like someone that would bring me on adventures. I really do need a yard, and I also need a lot of walks to let out my puppy energy. One great thing about me is that I am really well crate trained. I like my crate as a safe place and if you ever want me to go in there, I will just go right in, no problem.

I require an experienced owner since I have been through a lot and have some idiosyncrasies (who doesn't?) :) I am a large dog with a puppy mentality and need help with that.

I would love to find a loving home one day, that whom I could go on hikes, play with other dogs of my size, play with toys, and snuggle under a blanket. I have been in homes with cats, I didn't care about them much, but they never liked me. I am NOT a good dog for small children, hyper dogs or chaotic homes. I would be GREAT for a single person or couple with a quiet home who wants me as a companion dog, fur baby and/or hiking partner.
