Meet Dave the Dude!<br/>~3 years old | 62 lbs | Hound Mix | Coolest dog on the block (self-proclaimed, widely accepted)<br/><br/>Dave the Dude didn't mean to be a two-time wanderer-it's just hard to stay put when you haven't found your forever couch. But now? He's ready to kick back, settle down, and live the good life with a human who gets his vibe.<br/><br/>So, what's Dave all about?<br/><br/> Medium energy. He's down for a good play session, a long stroll, or just chilling in the shade with a chew toy.<br/> Kennel trained and easygoing-he respects the routine.<br/> Water enthusiast. Sprinklers, kiddie pools, garden hose chaos-he's all in.<br/> A true hound at heart with a signature bluesy bay. Not excessive, just expressive.<br/> Excellent treat catcher. The dude's got hops.<br/> Cats? Yeah... hard no. He declines their presence loudly and with conviction.<br/> Toys are his jam, and he'll happily entertain himself (but he won't say no if you want to join in).<br/><br/>He's neutered & heartworm positive but has already started treatment and is fully covered by the rescue.<br/><br/>Dave is the kind of dog who brings chill charisma to the room-but still knows how to keep life interesting.
