But now? He's ready to kick back, settle down, and live the good life with a human who gets his vibe.<br/><br/>So, what's Dave all about?<br/><br/> Medium energy. He's down for a good play session, a long stroll, or just chilling in the shade with a chew toy.<br/> Kennel trained and easygoing-he respects the routine.<br/> Water enthusiast. Sprinklers, kiddie pools, garden hose chaos-he's all in.<br/> A true hound at heart with a signature bluesy bay. Not excessive, just expressive.<br/> Excellent treat catcher. The dude's got hops.<br/> Cats? Yeah... hard no. He declines their presence loudly and with conviction.<br/> Toys are his jam, and he'll happily entertain himself (but he won't say no if you want to join in).<br/><br/>He's neutered & heartworm positive but has already started treatment and is fully covered by the rescue.<br/><br/>Dave is the kind of dog who brings chill charisma to the room-but still knows how to keep life interesting. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).<br/><br/>The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention.
