MY STORY
Hey everybody, I know many of you have come here to check out my story, but the truth is my story starts right now. I don't consider being dumped and abandoned in the country something that is worth retelling...why...because I have found my second chance at life. Looking back won't do me any good, all I know if that I absolutely LOVE all the cuddles and pets and that with any luck I will be meeting my new family real soon!
ABOUT ME
My name is Dashwood and I am a 4 month old male Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd/Aussie mix. I currently weigh about 22lbs, and will probably top out somewhere in the 70lb range. Here is what my foster says about me
"Dashwood is such a fun boy! He has a great personality that is full of sweet and fun! He loves playing with the other dogs & loves to cuddle! He is up for any adventure he is being taken on. He does well on a leash but occasionally tries to grab it and play while walking. He enjoys playing with & chewing on toys. If ever chewing on something he shouldn't (which is rare), he is easily redirected. Dashwood will love any family that loves him. He is such a sweet boy & a family out there is going to be so lucky to have him!"
I do great with other dogs and have a blast playing with them! I also do well around kids! I have not been around any cats though. I am working on my potty and kennel training. My ideal home would be one that is on the more active side, one that is looking for a take everywhere kind of dog! I would love to have another doggie companion in my new home, but depending on how active and how much my owner is home I could also do fine as an only dog.
HOW TO ADOPT ME
Now this is the fun part, this is where I get to see all the people that have fallen in love with me and receive the news that I will be going home real soon! My adoption fee is $275 and that will include two sets of puppy shots and wormings, bordatella, rabies, micro-chip, and neuter. I will also be current on my heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.

I am being fostered in Oklahoma City, OK. Don't forget that you would be responsible for picking me up, even if you live out of state. This rescue doesn't send us on transports or ship us.
