Meet Dash

Dash is a playful, loving, loyal, goofy, beautiful Dalmatian. He's 8-9 years old and about 60 pounds. Dash is very affectionate to his family but isn't overly needy. Dash loves poking around the yard, and gets super excited to go for rides in the car. He also really enjoys walks.

Dash is deaf but you wouldn't really know it. He is very intuitive and smart, and is used to reading your body language and in that way listens very well.

Dash is fully vetted with Rabies, DA2PPV and Bordatella vaccinations; recent negative heartworm and fecal tests; and is neutered and microchipped. He is kept on monthly heartworm preventative. Dash has some signs of arthritis in his back legs but it doesn't seem to bother him much. He can jump up on the couch and loves to gallop in the yard a bit.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Northwest Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
