There is no doubt that Saving Grace loves hounds. We've never really met one we didn't like and Darryl is no exception. This gentle hunk of a boy is an adult who weighs in around 65lbs. His picture hardly does him justice to all his handsomeness and awesome personality. Darryl is leaving his past behind and loving life at Saving Grace learning new things and meeting new friends. Darryl loves to play and will certainly enjoy a family that likes the outdoors and taking walks in the park. He is quiet in his crate, but really enjoys his time outside running and playing with his play group. He's waiting to meet you and make you his own. "Darryl has been affectionately named "wiggle butt or "wiggles for short. He is constantly wagging his tail is so full of energy he is such a lovable character. He plays very well other dogs and loves to take walks. He does excellent on the leash until he sees a squirrel or a human he wants to say hi to. Darryl doesn't complain about much and is a very easy going dog overall. He's not very treat or food motivated and is not aggressive playing with toys around other dogs. But he LOVES the chase and to be chased. He would make an excellent puppy to anyone willing to give belly rubs and go on lots of walks! Such a happy and smiling dog, he's easy to love".

"Darryl has had such a great weekend away! He played with my puppy, took lots of walks, and had lots of yummy treats. Darryl is a very sweet gentleman. He loves being around people and other animals. He has 'sit' down packed and likes the good treats like peanut butter, freeze dried bites, pup cups. He loves car rides and does great sitting or lying down calmly. Darryl is not a fan of the crate but did settle down if I was close by. Bedtime was better with him out of the crate, where he slept great next to my bed. He is a very strong boy so on walks hold on tight. He walks well until he sees something of interest. Once you regain his attention he goes right back to walking nicely.
