Darla Dachshund & Terrier Mix Omaha, NE

Meet Darla who came into rescue with her sister Tempee! She is 3.5 month old, about 13 pounds and is Dachshund mix that came into rescue to find a better life! The sisters were originally found in AR as strays hiding under a car. They are calm, gentle, sweet, love cuddles and belly rubs, sleep all night. They have lived with kids, dogs and cats! Darla loves to play hard and nap hard like any baby. Darla is working on potty, crate, and leash training and is overall doing great! She’s sleeping well in her crate overnight with out accidents. She needs a chaperone outside for now as she doesn’t like to be out alone.

Darla will melt into your lap, and for a puppy isn’t a crazy chewer but does love (and will prance with) toys and the occasional shoe!
