Meet Darby
Meet Darby! Darby is a gorgeous Golden Retriever/mixed-breed lady born on May 1, 2019. Darby is spayed and currently weighs about 47 pounds.
Darby is an absolutely wonderful pup! She is not only gorgeous, but also has the sweetest demeanor and personality. She knows her name after just a short time and comes when called. She corrects easily but really doesn’t do anything wrong at all. She is very gentle and extremely quiet. Darby is very loving and kind and wonderful with all other dogs (large and small), as well as all people including men, women, and children! She has seen my kitties and has no reaction whatsoever.
Darby is already sleeping through the night with her new foster in the DMV. She has the most adorable habit of sleeping on her back with her legs in the air. She is treat driven and uses a doggie door! Darby loves to play and has so much fun romping around with any other dogs that want to play.
Darby does have some extensive medical complications that we are currently working through with our vet. She shows signs of gun shot trauma, pneumonia, and hip dysplasia, and will need a family ready to give her all the love and support she didn't have in her previous life.
