Hello, my name is Daphne. My foster mom tells me I don't do a good job of hiding my angel wings because you can see where they are supposed to go on my back. It is supposed to be a secret that dogs are angels on earth, but what can I say I love to shine! I am happy girl with equal parts lazy snuggle, smarty pants and zoomies. I haven't met a person or dog that I don't get along with and I love having someone to lay with. I am potty trained, I know how to sit and lay down and I am working on a few other tricks. I still need work with my leash, I'm just so happy to go on a walk I don't always remember that I am not supposed to pull. I also have a habit of being a little mouthy when I get excited so I need help remembering to calm down. I can't wait to meet my new family, I have so much love to give.

Adopters must live within a 100-mile radius of Joliet, IL to be considered. The adoption fee is $425. This covers all shots, spay/neutering and microchip.

Our adoption process typically takes from one to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require that the dogs be present at the meeting to make sure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalizing the adoption.

If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for up to 1 year and we will gladly consider your family for another dog.
