Meet Dante
Hear me out... I know everyone is always after their real-life Disney prince/princess, but what about your very own Disney dog??? My name is Dante, and I'm the real-life version of Dante from Disney's "Coco". Although, yes, I do have hair! I am around 1 year old and am roughly 70 pounds. You would think that the first thing people would notice about me is that I am a tripod, but it's actually my GINORMOUS tongue. I put it to good use too, because I love to give kisses! I'm a big ole' boy and I'm full of lots of energy and love. For that reason, I would do best in an active family who wants to play fetch! I'm already house and trained and can't wait to learn more tricks than just "sit"!
You might wonder how I ended up at Rescue One and am now a tripod. I was pulled out of a lake and my rescuers noticed that I had what was once a cast on. At that point, the cast was virtually useless, and I had to be brought in for a new one. They say they think my last family left me because I was too "expensive" after I hurt my leg, Unfortunately I was in a lot of pain and the bad leg had to go. Now I am recovered, playing fetch again, and feeling like my old self! I think I would be a great family dog, but also would be a good truck driving dog! I am hoping that someone special has enough room in their heart for the love of a tripod!
My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
