Danny - sweet and shy low rider Corgi & Dachshund Mix Ossining, NY

Sweet boy Danny is an adorable brindle "low rider" who just arrived to us not too long ago! Danny was a bit confused at first.. he was super friendly and happy to get to know us but you could tell he was sort of looking around for someone or something familiar. It's apparent that this boy would thrive with consistency in his life!

?Danny is a wonderful little dog who is looking for a quiet home so he can truly come out of his shell and shine. He gets along well with dogs that fit his personality type too! A calmer, less puppy type of dog would suit him just fine.

Danny doesn’t seem to be a fan of the cold weather! It seems he would so rather be indoors in warm and cozy conditions cuddling then outside! I’m sure when the warm weather rolls around he’ll be much happier to go on walks.

Even though Danny isn’t loving walking out in the cold, he still loves to play! He will playing tug of war all day if you let him and has this hilarious groan he does when he’s really enjoying his playtime! It sounds like a growl and at first we have to sit back and think.. is he growling at us? Nope! Just his way of playing!

Danny is a sweet and quirky little dog who we are still trying to figure out.. we always make it a point to find what makes each dog “tick”.. meaning what makes them the happiest! We haven’t found exactly that in Danny yet but we are sure having fun working it out!

Danny is loyal and loving.. and will surly give his new home unconditional companionship. We don't recommend Danny go to a home with children under 15.
