Danny Boy is a sweet, energetic boy who loves to be with his people and will make a loyal companion to an active family. Whether you're into walking, running, or outdoor adventures, he's ready to go! He walks well on a leash, is housetrained, knows basic obedience commands, and takes treats gently, displaying his well-mannered nature.
He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and would love a canine friend to play with. Danny Boy needs a home where someone is around most of the time or can take him along when they go out, as he experiences some anxiety when left alone. He just wants to be with you!
We all know that labrador retrievers are love bugs, but did you know that Border Collies are astonishingly bright – in fact, they have one of the highest IQs among dogs? They’re also great protectors and are very loyal to his family. Danny Boy would be an excellent candidate for swimming, playing games (fetch, tug-of-war, hide & seek) or agility training. When he’s bored, he can be a bit of an escape artist, so a securely fenced yard is a must.
