Danny Pit Bull Terrier Mix Chicago, IL

Danny is a very sweet, very underweight young dog. When we met him he was wagging his tail in his cage so hard that he ended up with happy tail. Poor buddy. Danny walks nicely on leash, knows sit and takes treats well. He’s so so so hungry, so we fed him all the treats we had. Danny is cuddly, affectionate and loves to give kisses. We’re going to fatten this boy up, give him lots of love and find him a forever home.

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs.

Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
