STORY:

Dana is a rescue from the San Bernardino area. A homeless man had his dog gave birth to four puppies out of them only two survived till we rescued them. While our volunteer was pulling into a gas station, she found that man with his dog and the two puppies. Our volunteer reached out to the homeless man and he said that he cannot take care of the puppies as they are not drinking enough from their mom. Immediately our volunteer asked the homeless man to relinquish the two puppies to our rescue. Also, as a part of our mission, we scheduled an appointment for the mom to get Spayed for the homeless man on the expense of the rescue.

Coming back to the two female puppies (Lucy and Dana). Important nutrition was given to them along with full set of core vaccines, deworming medication, and flea and tick control medication. The two puppies stayed in the rescue until they got Spayed.

Dana is shy with strangers and will need time to adapt to any new home. She is so calm in behavior and mellow. Dana will be a great fit for a family with kids and smaller breed dogs.

PetEmber Animal Rescue is a California 501 (C) (3) charitable non-profit organization that does not receive any governmental funding and relies only on the donations of the public to help provide urgent care for abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and puppies. Also PetEmber helps Spay/neuter dogs in low income areas of the Inland Empire. All donations are tax-deductible. Our rescue is in continuous improvement and we strive to cope with all the technologies of the era to help provide better services to our customers and better care for our rescued dogs. When adopting a dog from PetEmber, you receive a well-rounded healthy dog that is up to date on all vaccines since all proceeds are directed to provide a supreme veterinarian care, nutrition, and training for the dogs we have. These proceeds are also used to help care for other senior, disabled, or hard to adopt dogs due to behavioral issues.
At the time of the adoption, the adopter receives a complete health record for his/her adopted dog on site. Necessary paperwork such as the rabies certificate, Spay/neuter certificate, vaccination record, and a copy of the adoption agreement are all handed to the adopter at the time of the adoption. These documents help the adopters in the process of licensing the dog or registering the dog as an emotional support animal (ESA). All dogs posted for adoption are 100% ready for their forever homes.

If you are interested in adopting any of our adoptable dogs, we created an online adoption application that works best on google chrome browser.
