Meet Dallas
Adoptable Dallas!
Dallas is a senior boxer who still has some swagger!
Here is what his foster family says about him:
He LOVES SHORT LEISURELY WALKS, although, he’s been known to get Boxer Zoomies and play with a ball too!
Dallas can be left alone 4-5 hours per day (without a potty break). Dallas is not a running or hiking partner but he would love to go on walks with you, or camping that doesn't involve hiking as he REALLY enjoys car rides.
He is crate trained, but this boy is fine in a home as he’s house trained, he’d prefer to ditch the confined space. He loves to hang out on a dog bed or couch while you are gone. He’s not a fan of being left outside for any long period of time, he will go out and do his business and come back in or bark to let you know he wants in.
He goes with the flow and is pretty mellow most days and you might find he likes to take a few naps:-)
Dallas is currently residing with three other large dogs (male and female) and does fine. He will need dog introductions to any resident dogs. Felines are unknown at this time.
This dapper boy also has a young child in the home he’s been good with, we’d prefer children over the age of 10 as he’s starting to lose his hearing and his eye sight (specifically his left eye) isn’t as sharp as it once was. He sleeps very soundly and can get startled if you come up on him too quickly.
He is up-to-date on his vaccines and altered.
We are now taking applications to adopt this sweet hunk, so don’t be tardy and scoop him up soon before he’s gone!
