Meet Dallas

Dallas traveled all the way from Texas to find rescue with Herding Haven! He was abandoned in an RV park where he was picked up by a good Samaritan (who then contacted Herding Haven). This beautiful 8 month old pup is full of life and love. Dallas is deaf so he will need a family who is willing to work with him on his sign language training. Luckily he has already gotten a good start in his foster home. Dallas knows the signs for "sit", "come", "stay" "good" and "no". Dallas loves to play with other dogs and is respectful of cats. When he runs and plays his ears flip back and he looks like a mouse (see pictures). Dallas can get a bit over excited with/by young/small children so we are recommending a home with children over 12 yr.
