Meet Dakota

Dakota was surrendered to the shelter because his owners were moving and could not take him along. Dakota is a 2.5 year old German Shepherd/Great Dane mix. As you can imagine this guy is BIG! He currently weighs in at 69lbs and could stand to gain a few more pounds (although not too much). Dakota is a sweet, gentle soul that loves to be with his people. He loves to run in our play-yard and runs like a thoroughbred! This guy can run! But he has speed not stamina. Dakota does jump up occasionally so he may be too much for small children, unless they are used to being around large dogs. Dakota would love to have a second chance at a forever home and would love to show you what an awesome boy he is!
