Meet Daisy2

Daisy2, a brown and white short-haired Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, is one year old and looking for a home. Currently about 60 lbs., this large pup may weigh a few more pounds as she gracefully eases into adulthood. The Catahoula Leopard Dog is known for its varied coat and eye colors Daisy2 is no exception. Just look at her coat!Daisy2 is a star pupil as she as mastered her house, crate and leash training. She can pack her bags and move into her new family home with the skill set needed for a house dog. Although Daisy2 is house trained, it is important to remember that accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. She is a friendly gal with a medium energy level. Daisy2 will thrive on regular daily exercise. Because this girl can kick it into high drive with her playful energy, she requires a lot of space to simply run. Since exercise and socialization opportunities are important for her breed, a trip to the local dog park would provide a great opportunity to do both. Because Daisy2 enjoys the company of kids and other dogs, you can bring them to the park, too. (Her experience with cats is unknown.) And when you go to the park, do not forget the toys! Daisy2 is very playful so her new pet parents could teach her to fetch a ball, tug a rope toy and perhaps catch that flying disk! Chances are good that Daisy2 will want to relax right next to her pet parents after they return home from an exciting visit to the park.If Daisy2 sounds like the kind of dog that you could take into your home and your heart, she would love to meet you!The adoption fee for Daisy2 is $500. That includes the cost of spaying/neutering, up to date vaccinations, foster care, rescue and transportation fees. To get the ball rolling, head over to our Adoption Application and submit your application today. A Dog Star representative will contact you within 24 hours. To speed up the process, contact your vet and give them permission to speak with us.If you do not get a response within 24 hours, check your spam folder.
