Meet Daisy Mae
Hello Friends…Daisy Mae here…..I’m still looking for my perfect furever home. I have had a pretty rough start so I need someone who is patient and will continue to help me feel confident in this big world. I LOVE kids and women, but it takes me a bit to warm up to men (but I will). I would do great with a calm neutral dog who can model appropriate behavior. I don’t do well with kitties or livestock. I LOVE to go for car rides, adventures, cuddle on the couch, eat snacks, and roll on my back! My Foster Momma thinks I am the sweetest cuddler and I love to snuggle up while she reads a book or hangs on the couch. I would love to meet you and see if we are a perfect fit!
Backstory of this cutie:
Daisy Mae was brought to a big scary shelter in Fresno after being thrown from a moving car on the freeway. In the shelter she was terrified and struggling….and due to her injuries was going to be euthanized instead of treated. We saw her sweet face and had to get her out…she went straight to the vet where we discovered she had such severe mastitis that she had several open horrible wounds on her belly. She went in for surgery to repair it the following day. Daisy spent several weeks recovering and then was spayed. She has been through so much - and that’s just what we know about!!!
She was clearly used as a puppy machine and then when she wasn’t useful, she was tossed out like garbage! This girl deserves the happiest life with tons of snuggles and loves.
