Daisy Mae Pit Bull Terrier Mix Sacramento, CA

This little girl REALLY needs you! Daisy Mae came to us from the Sacramento city shelter. She's a short, stout little girl whose previous owner debarked her we think (we're not sure why, since she doesn't seem to bark excessively - she can bark, but it's a very soft bark). She's definitely a little bulldog, with a short snout and front legs that are just slightly out at the elbows. She seems very young, probably around a year old (and has the confidence of youth!)

She's reserved and laid back, likes going for walks, loooves treats (and takes them gently), and is fairly decent with other medium to large sized dogs off leash after proper introductions (we're not sure how she is with all dogs, but she currently resides in a foster home with another dog). She seems to have high prey drive for small animals, but she responds well to verbal corrections. She should be in a home without cats or small dogs, and she really needs someone who is willing to take this little, once-neglected girl and continue to teach her all about doggie manners and human love.

Daisy Mae is currently being fostered in Sacramento. Meet and greets can be arranged anywhere in northern California for the right home.
