Daisy B American Staffordshire Terrier Mix New Orleans, LA

Introducing the delightful Daisy B! At around 6 years young and 43lbs, this petite lady is eagerly seeking her true forever family.

Daisy was recently saved from the top of the euthanasia list at a rural high kill shelter where she had been abandoned by her former ‘owners’. She has the sweetest temperament and absolutely loves people! She gives great hugs and kisses. She adores her toys and plays like a young pup. She will gently place a toy at your feet and then on your lap if she isn’t getting the attention she deserves, and then make tiny adorable grumbly noises to make sure you have noticed her. She loves to snuggle into a cozy blanket, hates being cold and thinks she is just a teeny lap dog! She thoroughly enjoys car rides where she can gaze out of the window and see the world zooming by. She walks well on a leash and loves to sniff and explore. Daisy is house trained, crate trained and dog friendly! She immediately loved her foster brother, but is happy as a solo pup as well. She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and has begun treatment for heartworms (covered by the rescue).

Daisy will make a fantastic addition to any family and she so deserves to find her forever humans who are going to keep her safe and loved during these best years of her life!

An inquiry, question, or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application. All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue).

The adoption fee for adult dogs covers age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, spay/neuter if not yet performed, heartworm test & appropriate heartworm treatment by the rescue's vet. All dogs in our care are also kept up-to-date on HW/Flea Prevention. Please see our website for more information.

2022 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350
Dogs over 12 months - $250


*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our animals live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
