Meet DAISY- Adopted 3/14/2025
Daisy is a beautiful 41 lb terrier mix and she is almost 1 year old.
She had been adopted as a puppy and it did not work out so the family had to bring her back.
Daisy is spayed and up-to-date on preventatives.
Daisy is a lover - She is initially shy with a new person but she builds trust quickly. She loves a good walk. She should quickly acclimate to being house trained as she never soils in her kennel. She's a wiggler and a waggler and so joyful when she gets one-on-one attention. She has a beautiful smile, too!
We are working on finding Daisy a playmate at the shelter. In her prior home they said she didn't do well with the other dogs nor the horses.
Socialization with other animals is learned during puppyhood and if they do not get enough teaching and training during those early times, challenges can come up. But, they can also be overcome!!
We will start with doing walks with potential playmates and find her a friend to play with!!
Her adoption fee is $50. Come meet her at the city of Waverly Animal shelter. !
