Meet Daisy
Daisy is a 16 month old dachshund/jack russell terrier mix. She is roughly 14 pounds and is full grown.
Daisy is very friendly and has tons of energy and would do best in an active home that runs or jogs. She has incredible hops, like a terrier and is long like a dachshund. She is a good blend of both dogs breeds and will be looking for an active home with a young companion(s).
Sadly, Daisy was returned to the rescue due to potty training issues which seem to center around crate anxiety (She was marking or going to the bathroom in her crate). We prefer she go to a home that doesn't crate train (at least not initially). Instead, we would like to use diapers and reward based training.
Criteria for adoption:
1)Securely fenced yard as this girl is fast and could be an escape artist if given the opportunity.
2) A home that is incredible patient and can follow a regiment for months before they see results
3) Staggered schedule or not gone long hours
4) Playful companion dog (small, medium or large are all ok)that is fully potty trained
