Meet Daisy
This lovely lady is Daisy!
Daisy is an approximately 11.5 year old Morkie (Maltese / Yorkie mix) that weighs 11 lbs. She joined the rescue after her owners who loverd her very much were no longer able to care for her.
Daisy is outgoing and has loved everyone she has met (a little social butterfly). She likes to give you kisses. She is a super fan of treats. Some of the healthier options that she does like: 1) raw carrots & celery 2) fresh cut tomatoes 3) cooked carrots, peas & green beans. She’s dropped 2 lbs. since joining the rescue so yes she was a chunky little gal not so long ago.
If a lapdog is what you desire look no further Daisy is your girl. If you are sitting down & your lap is empty Daisy will be expecting to sit in that lap. If another dog is your lap she still expects to be in your lap.
She’s still got plenty of sass & spunk to go around. If she feels she is being ignored she will certainly let you know. She will pick up & play with dog toys from time to time. She gets along with the other dogs she has met in her foster home. She does prefer calmer dogs to hyper.
Daisy would make an excellent addition to a home with or without another dog. This little lady just wants to be pampered & treated like the princess she thinks she is for the remainder of her life.
She does require a daily prescription medication called Proin. With a prescription & purchased at an online pharmacy it costs around $15 per month.
She is crate, leash & potty trained. She currently sleeps in a dog bed in her fosters bedroom. She has mastered the dog door in her foster home & actively uses it to go outside to go potty. Without the dog door she will go to the back door so you’ll have to watch for that. She will then bark when she is ready to come back inside. In her foster home she does great left uncrated when her family is not home.
Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, HW negative, current on HW preventative and micro chipped. She also had a recent dental. Her adoption fee is $200.
