Meet Daisy
Meet Daisy! Daisy is a 6 year old female Labrador Retriever who is looking for a very special family.
Daisy's owner passed away, and because of that, her whole world was turned upside down in a short amount of time. Needless to say, she might need a lot of extra time and patience to settle into a new home.
Unfortunately, Daisy is currently extremely over weight. Her family should expect to invest a lot of time into her diet & exercise routine so that she can get to a healthy labrador weight and live the happiest, longest life possible! Working alongside a vet will help with this. She may need to have her joints checked too, just to make sure that her weight didn't cause any early problems.
Daisy is house broken, and should do well with other pets and kids as long as she's properly introduced and supervised. Especially because of what just happened, it's important not to overload Daisy with too much all at once- take it slow and be patient and loving, and she'll eventually make herself at home.
Daisy will benefit from daily walking, and then once she's a healthy weight she can do thinks like hiking, jogging, etc! (she's not there yet). Let's put it this way....don't plan on a couch potato dog! Labradors are active and adventurous, and she will want to join you!
Daisy is spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative. Her adoption fee is $150.00
We are doing all meet n' greets BY APPOINTMENT ONLY after an adoption application has been approved.
