Meet Daisy
Daisy is an active 4 year old Silky Terrier who weighs about 14 lbs. She is housebroken and walks well on a leash. Daisy is a total terrier, as she loves to chase squirrels and run up and down the fence with the neighbor dog. Daisy needs a fenced back yard as she’s very lively and likes to run. Daisy likes to have all the attention so she would do best as an only dog. Daisy does not like cats. Daisy’s foster mom says she loves to be outside and requires lots of exercise.
Daisy is at a great age to attend obedience training to learn some basic commands. Knowing those makes any dog a better companion.
If you’d like to meet Daisy, the first step is to hit the Ask About button and request an adoption application.
Please allow 1-2 weeks to finish processing your application, but please know our volunteers are working hard on it. Please note that we do not hold our dogs when someone applies for it.
Daisy’s adoption fee is $300 and is tax deductible.
NOTE: You must complete and submit an application and be approved to adopt prior to being able to meet the dog. The requested tax-deductible adoption donation is $400-$700 for our puppies, $300-$500 for up to age 7 and $150 for ages 8 and older.
We do not ship our pets. Be prepared to travel to Tulsa, OK, or Oklahoma City, OK, or the location where this dog is fostered to pick up your dog in person if your application is approved. Once you are approved, you may adopt any of our dogs that is a good fit.
We are a non-profit organization that spends our adoption fees and donations on vaccinations, surgeries, various medical tests, medicines, food and supplies needed by our dogs. Our fees do not cover the overall expenses incurred by the care of our dogs, but they do help defray the costs involved. We thank you for your support.
Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. We always try to select the right applicant for each dog, based on the dog’s needs and try to find the best match for both dog and human.
We leave a dog’s profile online until either it has been adopted, has received several applications, or is not able to be adopted for some reason.
