Meet Daisy
Meet Daisy!
Daisy is a gorgeous black and tan just 10 months old!
Daisy is super smart with phenomenal food drive and ball drive. She is highly active both mentally and physically and requires plenty of exercise as well as mental stimulation. This girl absolutely needs a job! Her job can be training, long walks and runs with her person, rally obedience, barn hunts, scent work …she has a phenomenal nose! She loves to be busy and will thrive. She is a green dog as far as sports activities.
Daisy has been through basic obedience classes and did great! She is ready to be tested for her CGC. We will wait to test her with her new family handling her.
She does not do well with cats or small dogs/animals and will need a home with a fenced yard. We have exposed her to other dogs of different sizes; some she likes, some she does not. She may be able to live with a canine brother but the meet and greet and the experience level of the new family will determine that.
Daisy has not been exposed to infants or toddlers with us or her previous home so we will not place her with these families. We will consider families who have GSD experience and dog savvy pre-teens and teenagers. All applications with be considered on a case-by-case basis.
She is not a snuggly dog but will seek you out for affection when she wants some. She is appropriately aloof for her breed.
Daisy’s ideal family will have GSD experience, provide love and structure and keep Daisy active and engaged.
As we do with all our GSDs, when we find a potential matching family, Daisy and her trainer will meet with approved adoption applicants. If everyone agrees it is a good match, the family will work with Daisy and her trainer to review handling and obedience work prior to taking her home. Once she is settled with his new family, we will schedule follow-up training.
Daisy and her new family will get free training for her entire life at The K9Edge in Danvers MA. If driving distance is an issue, GSR&RC will help the adopters find an approved trainer.
Daisy is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, housebroken and crate trained.
