Hello, my name is Daisy and I am 2 years young. I am a terrier mix but my foster mom tells me that I am one of the greatest breeds on earth, a Great American Mutt! I am very proud of that. I am a small girl and weigh 28lbs but I will probably weigh less.
I was found down south as a stray. I was waiting for my babies to arrive. My rescue angels thought they had time so they told me: "Daisy, we have plenty of time to get you up north to Chicago!". Well..... surprise! I had my babies very shortly after arriving in IL.
I was a good Mama and all my babies are in their forever homes and now it's time for me to enjoy a little "me" time.
I'm a quiet girl and once I bond with my new family I can be a little scared. You might think this little gal can't be much trouble but I have to admit I'm an Escape Artist. I have to have a fenced yard and watch out on those open doors! With my foster Mom I can walk outside all out on my own. She calls my name and inside I go but new people - nope. I'm like the wind - fast!

My foster mom says that I am a Lovebug. She calls me her velcro because once I get attached to her I won't leave! There is also a 1 year young boy here and I just love being with him. I don't like to see him cry so I stay by his side. That seems to calm him down. I like it when my foster Mom and I lounge around. She says I am her best pillow because I love sleeping at the top of her bed!

I can't wait to meet my forever family. I haven't had the best life but I am loving my new life. They tell me that I will be going to a place where I am loved and safe and will have plenty to eat. Can we meet?

I promise I will be by your side for the rest of my life. Just watch out for those open doors!
