Daisy American Staffordshire Terrier & Pit Bull Terrier Mix San Diego, CA

Hello everyone! My name is Daisy!

I’m a beautiful 2 year-old and arrived at the Bonita Shelter as a stray with another after I had been hit by a car. Sadly, my story doesn’t get any better. The owner of my doggie pal informed the shelter that I belonged to her cousin, but that my owner couldn’t be bothered to come in and save me. I’m not sure why, since I would never abandon them! The wonderful people at Passion For Pitties were so kind to pull me from the shelter and now I spend my days with my lovely foster family. My foster is still getting to know me, but I have settled in very nicely since arriving home and am healing from my injuries quite well.

My foster dad says that I have excellent house manners and I haven’t chewed anything that I wasn’t supposed to! LOVE attention, since I am a princess, but I am not a needy girl. Might whine a bit when you first leave, but will wait patiently for you to return.

Give excellent KISSES, by the way! During the day, I lie quietly under the desk at my foster dad’s feet while he works from home. Sleep right through the night on my doggie bed or snuggled up right next to my dad!

Relish receiving treats and take them very gently, just like a lady. Easily walked on a leash and am great with other dogs! I’m always very calm and friendly with all dogs and people, including small children. Not sure about cats since I’ve never met once, but with my good nature we would probably become friends. Potty-trained as well.
