Meet Daisy
Meet Daisy! This little sweetheart may have precisely zero German Shepherd in her :-) but when she and her "Hazzard Puppy" siblings, Luke and Bo, got rescued by a Good Samaritan after getting dumped out of a car, we knew we wanted to help! So we made them honorary GSDs and official Serendipity dogs.
Daisy has the ears and markings to suggest a likely mix of hound and hunting breeds, and soft, silky hair that may mean some retriever or spaniel going on in that doggy DNA. But one thing we do know for sure: Daisy is an adorable, thoughtful, gentle soul.
Daisy is about 17 weeks old now, and proving to be a smartie pants with her training. She knows "sit" and to come inside when called. While feisty and bossy with her brothers (because: sisters...), she is respectful with the resident female GSD in her foster home. Daisy has done well with the resident cat and little boy human as well, and would enjoy a home with a polite young human to call her own.
Because we don't know who Daisy's mom and dad were, we don't know how big this girl will get. At 17 weeks old and with a lot of growing still to do, she's about 30 pounds, so we estimate between medium to large size in general.
While in foster, Daisy has been getting all caught up on her puppy healthcare, including vaccinations, deworming, and microchipping. She will stay in foster until all of her healthcare is up to date, but if she just stole her heart with those wistful brown eyes and "are you my mother?" face, then mosey on over to our website and apply to adopt!
